I realized I left a lot out. We spent a lot of time in the woods this weekend, everything from cutting down bittersweet vines (insidious bastards, no idea where they came from, but they are taking down trees) to clearing buckthorn out of shooting lanes. I have their stand about 25 yards from mine, and good line of sight shooting lanes 75 yards past their stand, and 125 past mine in the opposite direction.

We had to put new straps on the ladder stand (new straps not shown) as apparently they make good squirrel nest material.

Nell has a thing about posing like bigfoot. She has big feet. Bought her new hunting boots this weekend. Adult size 10.
It really was a lot of fun hanging out with them this weekend.
