Life has been busy, between puppy, kids, gardens, and everything else that goes on, so I apologize for not getting more posts logged.
So, this is a week ago. Patti and I were back down at my parent’s to pick blackberries. Temps that day were a full 12 degrees cooler than the day before, but humidity had the heat index around 100 degrees, and it took me out. I picked for a few hours, then went into the house and just laid down on the floor and was out for about 90 minutes. Between me and Patti, we got another 5 gallons of berries, and have well over 3 gallons total of strained pulp in their deep freeze.
I tried to pose a pic of Pike with berries I had picked.
Getting him to hold still is not easy.
So had to be happy with a photo of him without berries.
He is growing really fast. Big enough now to jump up onto the bed. Seems to be toilet trained (oh, if only Violet was as easy) and other than his enjoyment of chewing things that we would rather he did not, so far, all is good.
