We made a trip to the Ness Farm, being me, Phoebe, Patti and Piper, but my girls became quickly intolerant of being predated upon by mosquitoes while weeding. There was no wind to speak of, and even I was being fed upon, which is a rare thing. I have a blood type not generally enjoyed or preferred by mosquitoes, and they were even feeding upon me. I have a higher tolerance for it though, and do not get welts that itch, so I soldiered on, while the girls went for a walk about on the Ness property. They had the camera, so there are really no gardening photos. <grin> Kind of a break for all of you then. Enjoy.
So that is their walk. They saw a deer, lots of wild grapes, a neighbor’s horse, blackbirds, and clouds of mosquitoes being hunted by dragonflies. It was a nice cool evening, but a breeze would have been appreciated.
