Four days of food and fun. Family took another three deer, and ten pheasants. Pheasants are for Christmas dinner, and one of the deer is older and rutted up, so lots of sausage for the family, and a younger deer for steaks and chops. Everyone’s freezers are going to be full. Nice way to end the gathering time.
This is where we had lunch before pheasant hunting on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
We do love Wild Cherries in Brown Sauce over Pheasant for Christmas dinner. <grin>
So, now we browse seed catalogs, dream of spring, go ice fishing, and eat a lot of food for a few months before we start plants indoors. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Got a message from my nephew Ben. He stuck around to hunt the last day and got a doe for his tag. Not bad. That is a lot of venison for the family this year.
