Another Evening At The Ness Farm

IMG_3102

Went out in the evening, just in time to meet the mosquitoes which have emerged after this weekend’s rain, so I could get finished what I had mean to get done this past weekend.  I was for the most part the only one working, but the girls had fun running around.  I put in 24 Jimmy Nardello sweet Italian frying pepper plants (had them left over, never have enough, so put them in the ground) along with a half dozen hills of melons.  Then I gave a side dressing of diluted fish emulsion to all of the corn planted there, which meant 2 hours of hauling water by hand in watering cans.  Got it done.  Kids had fun and took photos.  Not too much of gardening, just having fun around the Ness Farm.

Ok, one gardening photo.  Baby Vi gave one of the peppers a half of a watering can of water.  <grin>

And a deer on our drive home standing near the road and willing to pose for a photo.

All my beautiful girls.  <grin>
