As the title suggests, we lost Bunny last night. Seemed to be a respiratory infection that went from her seeming just a bit out of sorts the evening before, to her expiring in my arms, with Piper sitting next to us, the following night. It is not without sadness that we said goodbye to her. We never knew how old she was, coming to us as the odd curiosity of being a full grown stray domestic rabbit, but she endeared herself to everyone except the cats, who still respected her. She had a beautiful friendship with her dog Piper with whom she ate, played, slept, and was one of the sweetest, most affectionate animals I have ever had the pleasure to call a companion in this life. She will wait until spring for us to bury her underneath our gardens when we will say one last goodbye to her. For now, I just wanted to post, in many cases again, photos of her short time with us.
