The Cutting

So, last week Monday I went through a rather horrific diagnostic test called a discogram which gave the surgeons a rock-solid diagnosis on the lower part of my spine.  There is no structural integrity in my lower two discs in my back.  The car accident shredded them.  Now we get to figure out schedules for having surgery to turn the lower end of my back into one solid piece of bone.  <sigh> Oh well.  If all goes well, by summer I will be back to at least a semblance of the self I was prior to the accident, but it is going to be rough going getting myself back into shape with all they are going to have to do.

    Prayers for your full recovery.

Wait a minute! It was three daughters now it is four daughters. Are you passing out cigars? A friend of mine also has four daughters. They are all fun to be around…. never a dull moment.

Yes. Baby Violet was born on 2/8/12 and has been a complete joy. Her smiles have helped to lift my spirits every day. I just didn’t want to deal with getting another URL. Patti did a great job modifying the logo though.
