Mostly Plants, And Some Drivel From Me

Early tomato sowing is showing true leaves.  Three kinds in one flat, that is why you see both regular leaf to left and right, and potato leaf in the middle.

Italian Flat Leaf Parsley is just starting to show third leaves.

As are both of the kale types started.

Well, all those not potted up should be, but I have not felt up to getting into the garage to dig out pots.  I will have to cajole Patti into doing it for me if I cannot soon.  Also, I am going to have to clean off another shelf of grow lights.  Patti has some wood working tools piled on the other one that are going to need to be put away before I can move plants over to it, and the lights will have to be lowered quite a bit as well.  Still slowly recovering from last weeks needles in the spine.  I will have a better idea of what can be done on the 27th when I meet with the surgeon.

I did seed a flat of Manitoba tomato seeds.  Found an unopened pack from last year that I had wanted to try.  Cold tolerant, early, and determinate.  We will see how they do.  Good reviews from friends of mine that have grown them.  These plants should be ready in early April if the weather warms up.  The early sown ones are going to be huge by then, but who knows?  Maybe this cold will turn and the snow will go away.  All we can do is wait and see.
